Manual Sequencing

Use

You can use this heuristic to do the following in the DS planning board:

Create a scheduling sequence of your choice for a group of selected scheduled operations

Subsequently schedule the operations in this sequence

You create the sequence of operations manually on a graphical list interface when calling up the heuristic.

Due to the fact that you create the operation sequence manually when calling up the heuristic, you cannot use this heuristic in the production planning run.

Features

The list interface in divided into two sections, between which you can shift operations using Drag&Drop. In one of the sections, you create the list of operations to be rescheduled in the desired sequence. You can use the other section as a work area and a temporary store for operations. You can also put the operations in this section that are not to be rescheduled. When you have created the operation list, you can start rescheduling. You define the rescheduling strategy settings in the heuristic settings.

This heuristic uses the function module /SAPAPO/HEUR_PLAN_SEQUENCE_MAN.
