Calling Up the CIF Menu 

Use

You must call up the appropriate area menu in R/3 to access the functions of the APO Core Interface (CIF).

Procedure

For release 3.1I to 4.5B:

  1. Enter the transaction CIF in the command field in the main screen of the R/3 System.
  2. Confirm this entry using the return key.

For releases 4.6B on:

From release 4.6B, the CIF menu is called up via the SAP menu (SAP Easy Access). Choose SAP Menu ® Logistics ® Central Functions ® Supply Chain Planning Interface ® Core Interface Advanced Planner and Optimizer.

In R/3 release 4.6A choose Logistics ® Central Functions ® SCP Interface ® SCP Interfaces ® Core Interface Advanced Planner and Optimizer.
