Maintaining Check Modes 

Use

The check mode, together with the business event, determines the type and scope of check to be carried out. In addition, the check mode controls consumption using the forecast.

Procedure

  1. In Customizing for the Advanced Planner and Optimizer select Global ATP à General Settings à Maintain Check Mode.
  2. Choose New entries.
  3. You branch to the details view.

  4. Create the check mode by entering a three-digit alphanumeric value.
  5. Choose an Assignment mode, if you want the customer requirements to be consumed against the forecast.
  6. Choose a production type.
  7. Enter a description (maximum 40 characters) for the check mode.
  8. Choose Save.
