The SCE enables you to view data pertaining to the different elements in your chain, and also allows you to maintain the model objects at the same time. You can submit queries for information on individual or combined elements in the chain. For example, you can query for a list of all products assigned to a specific location in your model. At the same time you can add products to that location or make changes to the location master or product master.

The APO queries used in the Supply Chain Engineer and Cockpit are the same. The only difference is that in the Cockpit, you can customize the query context menus.
