APO Master Data

Purpose

In addition to the application-specific master data, such as the TP/VS master data, the APO master data comprises the following areas:

Product
Location
Resource
Production Process Model (PPM)
Model/Planning Version
Supply Chain Model
Hierarchies

These areas of master data represent a central source for calling up specific data within an enterprise.

The data is stored in the individual master records.

Integration

Master data is used by all components of SAP APO. The data can either be created directly in APO or can be transferred from an OLTP System (for example SAP R/3).
