Use

The integration of the location product is described below.

Integration

The SAO APO location product is supplied with plant material data from the SAP R/3 System.

Requirement

The partial areas planning strategy and dependent requirements are supplied from the SAP R/3 system; dynamic pegging can only be maintained in SAP APO.

Lot size

The parameters for calculating the lot size and the days’ supply determination are copied from the SAP R/3 System (this corresponds to the lot size data in SAP R/3).

SNP2

You can maintain this data entirely in SAP APO, with the exception of the purchasing group for which the data was taken from the SAP R/3 System.

PP/DS

All fields in this tab page are SAP APO fields and are only maintained in SAP APO.

GR/GI (Goods receipt / goods issue)

The parameters for procurement type, planned delivery type, goods receipt and goods issue data are taken from the SAP R/3 System; you can maintain the remaining data in SAP APO.

Product allocation procedure and sequence of product allocation procedures: are maintained in SAP APO customizing and selected using the input help (F4).

Check mode (SAP APO): is transferred from SAP R/3 (requirements type with correct requirements class) to SAP APO and is created in SAP APO Customizing.

Checking horizon (SAP APO): is transferred from SAP R/3, if specific data was maintained in the material master record for material produced in-house. See Availability Check Using Checking Horizon for more information.

ATP group, checking horizon, calendar for checking horizon: these fields are maintained in SAP APO Customizing and selected using the input help (F4).
Display unit of measure: If you want to use the display units of measure created in SAP R/3 in SAP APO you must first transport them there. In addition, you can also create them in SAP APO.
