Initial Data Supply

Use

The initial data supply loads planning relevant data from the R/3 System SAP APO. This applies to both master data and transaction data.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of system settings for both APO and R/3. See Checklist for Setting Up the System Infrastructure for further information.

Features

The data sets (master and transactional data) required for APO planning processes are selected in the integration model. These tasks include

Defining the target system
Selecting the filter objects to be transferred; in other words, compilation of a data pool for the initial download
Triggering the initial data uploads.
