Use

Incentive and Commission Management uses Organizational Management to represent a company’s organizational structure and to display the hierarchy of relationships and dependencies. The organizational structure is used in ICM for the following:

Workplace for Commission Clerks

The workplace for commission clerks (CDT Commissions Desktop) is an ICM-specific version of the Manager’s Desktop (MDT). This interface is designed specifically for commission clerks. The commission clerk is authorized to carry out certain tasks depending on the assignment of his or her position in the organizational structure.

Authorization Checks for Commission Clerks

Checks whether the commission clerk has the relevant authorization to process certain commission contracts, depending on the position in the company and the evaluation path. See

Determining Indirect Participants

The policy management system can only supply information on direct participants to the inbound interface of Incentive and Commission Management.

Indirect participants are determined using organizational management. You can store the commission contract partners in Incentive and Commission Management in a hierarchy. The system determines the roles for the indirect participants in the business case from the relationships between the beneficiaries. These roles can, in turn, be used to determine the way in which the commission is calculated and valuated.

Drilldown Reporting

Valuations and reports are executed through the appropriate evaluation paths of the organizational structure.

 

Integration

SAP Organizational Management (PD-ORG) is used to maintain the organizational structure.

The workcenter for the commissions clerk is maintained using the functions contained in the Manager's Desktop.

Relationship 291 includes business partners with the role of commission contract partner in organizational management.

You have to establish these relationships if you wish to make full use of the various evaluations available.
