You can process a document via the yard monitor. When you process a document, a vehicle is created and assigned to the document.
You may process a document when you have prior knowledge of the exact vehicle arriving at the yard to deliver goods pursuant to an inbound document. For more information, see Known Inbound Vehicle Delivering Goods.

Follow steps 3-12 in Creating a Standalone Vehicle.
If you are processing a shipment for which a forwarding agent has been assigned, this forwarding agent is inherited by the vehicle. Consequently, you need not enter a forwarding agent in the Fwd. Agent field.
If you are processing a document in a case where the vehicle has not yet arrived at the yard, we recommend that you choose a location of the location class External Location when creating the vehicle. You can subsequently check this vehicle in to the yard when it arrives at the checkpoint. |
The vehicle is created and assigned to the documents.
