Attaching Transport Equipment to Means of
Transport
Use
Using the yard monitor, you can attach transport equipment to a means of transport, and vice versa.
You can attach more than one transport equipment to the same means of transport. However, you can only attach one transport equipment to a means of transport at one time.

Display the objects. |

From the ALV, select a row corresponding to the means of transport to which you want to attach transport equipment. |
From the hierarchy tree, right-click the icon to the left of the object representing the means of transport to which you want to attach transport equipment. |

the ALV tool bar, choose The Attach Transport Equipment to Means of Transport dialog box appears, displaying the transport equipment that can be attached to the means of transport. |
Choose Attach transport equipment from the pop-up menu. The Attach Transport Equipment to Means of Transport dialog box appears, displaying the transport equipment that can be attached to the means of transport. |

Select a line corresponding to the transport equipment that you want to attach to the means of transport. |

Result
The transport equipment is attached to the means of transport, with the latter constituting a higher-level handling unit to the former.
If from the monitor hierarchy tree, you drag&drop the vehicle object on to the Attached Vehicles sub-object class, the attached vehicle objects appear.
You can detach previously attached vehicles by invoking the Detach method from the attached vehicle object.
