Identification number

The segment can be used to determine a partner number from the transfer of the International Location Number (ILN).

Prerequisite

A valid partner function has been sent in the superior segment E1EDKA1 and the fields PARTN and LIFNR of the segment E1EDKA1 have been transferred empty. In this case the system determines the partner number via the specifications from the view Control in the customer master record. The complete 13 digit ILN must be then be transferred in STDPN. If the conversion could not be successfully carried out, it will lead to error message VG140.
