Component documentation System Measurement Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

You can use the measurement program (transaction USMM) to determine the number of users and the utilized Engines of the SAP software for each system.

Implementation Considerations

You must only use the tools provided by SAP, in their original state, for measurement. You should transfer the result of the measurement to SAP immediately and in an unchanged format. If you have questions about system measurement, create a message under the component XX-SER-LAS.

Integration

Use the system measurement to determine the number of users and utilized Engines of the SAP software. Then consolidate the results of the system measurements in the License Administration Workbench to ultimately transfer the consolidated measurement result to SAP.
