Error Identification and Analysis
The goal of error identification is to ensure the operating readiness of the system through regular and automated checks.
The following basic problems can occur:
· Availability: Is the SAP J2EE Engine actually running?
· Monitoring and Displaying Log Files: Do the files contain error messages?
· Resource Usage and Performance: Are the system resources overloaded, is the performance acceptable?
If the J2EE Engine is communicating with an ABAP system, the Java Connector (Jco) is used. For more information, see the section Notes About the Java Connector (JCo).

If you are connected to a CCMS, monitor the availability of the SAP J2EE Engine, the log files, and resource usage with transaction RZ20 in the central monitoring system. If no alerts are displayed there, there are no problems with the J2EE Engine.
