This manual is divided into the following sections:
· Architecture Overview: provides a brief overview of the architecture of a (J2EE-only) SAP System, explains the Startup and Control Framework and the most important processes at operating system level.
· Important Services: lists the most important services of the Service Framework of the SAP J2EE Engine and contains links to the detailed documentation.
· Management of the J2EE Engine: describes the administration tools for the J2EE Engine, starting and stopping the system, backup and recovery, load balancing and user administration.
· Monitoring and Error Handling of the SAP J2EE Engine: describes the options for monitoring the J2EE Engine, and for identifying and analyzing errors.
Constraints
This documentation does not contain any information about configuring the system. It is assumed that the SAP J2EE Engine is running or at least has been started once.
