Data Checks

Use

The user interface includes a function for checking data. Note that the checks performed by CATS notebook are not as extensive as the checks performed by other Time Sheet user interfaces that are constantly linked to SAP R/3. This means that data records accepted by CATS notebook may cause an error message in SAP R/3 in the course of synchronization.

Features

Data checks in CATS notebook consist of the following steps:

Checking the format of the data records entered (hours or decimal fractions of hours)

Checking working time attributes
If CATS notebook does not recognize a working time attribute, it always issues the user with a warning message. For more information, see Selecting Working Time Attributes.
