"Display Qualifications" Service

Use

This Employee Self-Service (ESS) gives your employees the options of viewing the qualifications (skills, talents, knowledge) that have been recorded in the system for them. The proficiency and validity of each qualification can be displayed, thus enabling employees to see, for example, where they require further training.

Advantages of using this service:

Reduces the administrative workload of staff in the personnel department and supervisors

Promotes employee involvement and responsibility

Prerequisites

You must have created a mini master record for every employee. You must also have created infotype 105.

Authorizations/Security

Each employee requires a user in the appropriate R/3 System, and also authorization for displaying his/her own qualifications.

No special security measures need to be implemented.

Features

Display all existing qualifications and corresponding proficiencies.

Display the validity start and end date of each qualification.

Service Name

The service name of this ESS is MY_QUALIS. All the files relating to this service have been stored under this name in the R/3 System.
