Function documentation Creating a Document Info Record in the CAD Desktop Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can create, change, or delete document info records in the CAD desktop - in the CAD view, in the CAD worklist, or in the check-in assistant.

You can carry out the function in dialog mode, or in the background. If you process it in the background, the system takes the information necessary for the creation of a document info record from Customizing.

Prerequisites

The CAD file must be loaded.

Activities

The system offers you a selection of the document types that you defined in Customizing for the selected file name extension of the CAD file, and goes to the Structure linkcreate mode for document management.
