Optimizer Statistics 
The Performance node of the database alert monitor contains a display that indicates whether the optimizer statistics have to be updated.
Prerequisite
Procedure
1. Start the Database Alert Monitor.
2. Choose Performance ® Optimizer Statistics.
Result
The last run of the optimizer check and the actual UPDATE STATISTICS job are checked.
Last Check: Default setting for running the optimizer check:
A yellow alert is generated if the last run was more than 30 days ago.
A red alert is generated if the last run was more than 90 days ago.
Last Run: Default setting for UPDATE STATISTICS run (updating the optimizer statistics):
A yellow alert is generated if the last run was more than 30 days ago.
A red alert is generated if the last run was more than 60 days ago.
No Run: This red alert is generated if the optimizer statistics were not updated successfully.
