Database Console 

In the Tools user menu, you can find, among other things, a display of the information for runtime analysis of database instance bottlenecks detected when using the database console.

Procedure

       1.      In the user menu, choose Database: Monitoring ® Database Assistant (transaction DB50 ).

       2.      Choose SAP DB Tool ® Database Console.

Result

The following properties are displayed:

DB Name: DB name

DB Server: DB server

Kernel Version: DB version

You can see views of the following areas:

·        I/O Operations: Disk Accesses

·        Process Analysis

·        Memory Management

·        If the database instance is in the operational state ONLINE, you can display the SYSMON tables. To do this, choose Goto ® SYSMON Table Display.
