Use

Since several departments of a company work with one material and each department uses different information for the material, the data is structured in a material master record, according to user departments. This is portrayed in the following graphic:

If you have called a material master record, an icon in the tab index tells you which user departments you have selected in the View Selection dialog box. As soon as you have called a user department, the icon looks different and shows which user departments you have already called in the current transaction.

These entries are obligatory and identical for all departmental areas. Decide with the other departmental areas, which data you should enter here.
