Purpose

The SAP Business Partner for Financial Services enables you to create and manage business partners centrally. This is particularly important if a business partner deals with a company in different roles, for example, as a contract partner and as an interested party.

The SAP Business Partner for Financial Services has been designed to minimize data redundancy and exploit the advantages of data integration. It also focuses more strongly on managing customer relationships and new customer acquisitions.

Features

A business partner can be created in different business partner roles and can assume other business partner roles during the course of the business relationship. When you enter a new role, you do not have to enter all the business partner data again, which prevents inconsistencies and means that you can avoid entering and storing redundant data.

The SAP Business Partner for Financial Services brings together partner data that may be spread out over several systems, and enables you to identify potential customers for new contracts from within your existing customer base.

When you enter data, the data related to the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services and the application-specific data is seamlessly integrated in one processing screen.

It is also possible to integrate customer-specific data without using modifications (that is, the fields are supported in future releases), since interfaces have been defined specifically for this purpose.
