Setting R/3 Repository Options

Use

You use this procedure to set options for checking Internet Transaction Server (ITS) files into or out of the R/3 Repository.

When you have checked ITS files into the R/3 Repository, you sometimes forget to check them out before working on them again, especially if the old versions still reside on your hard disk.

To prevent this happening, you can set appropriate options in the SAP@Web Studio. When you check files in, the SAP@Web Studio does one of the following:

Deletes the files from the source directory

Sets the read-only attribute on files in the source directory

Procedure

Choose Tools ® Options ® Repository.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

Specify the options you require:

To delete files from your hard disk after adding them to the R/3 Repository or checking them back in, check the Remove local copy after Add or Check In box
To set files to read-only in the source directory, check the Use read only flag for files that are not checked out box

Choose OK.
