Entering Alternative Units of Measure

Note

The information in this Info Object refers to both the material master in industry, and also the article master in SAP Retail. If you use SAP Retail, replace Material with Article.

Call the material master in the create mode, or the change mode, and choose Additional Data ® Units of Measure.

Carry out at least two of the following options:

Enter the alternative unit of measure, and the factor for the conversion into the base unit of measure.

Enter the unit of measure group.

The system uses the alternative units of measure and the conversion factors that are grouped in this unit of measure group.

Choose the next function that you want to carry out, or save the data.
