To be able to use the multilevel worklist to reprocess the objects that have errors, you must use the Schedule Manager with the flow definition. For more information, see the following section:

First perform the following functions if applicable:

• Dynamic template allocation
• Revaluation of activity types and business processes at actual prices
• Actual cost distribution

• Overhead calculation

The function Preliminary Settlement for Co-Products, Rework is a collective function. When you perform Preliminary Settlement for Co-Products, Rework, the system selects the following objects in accordance with your selection criteria:

• Rework orders; the system settles these to the original order
• Joint production orders; the system distributes the costs of the order header to the order items
• The manufacturing orders that are in collective orders without automatic goods movements and that have a dependent relationship to other manufacturing orders; the system settles each dependent order to the order above it

These individual functions are performed in the indicated sequence.

The individual functions can also occur in combination:

You may have generated a rework order for a joint production order. In this case:

• In the first step, the system settles the rework costs of the rework order to the header of the joint production order.
• In the second step, the system distributes the actual costs collected on the order header to the individual order items in accordance with the apportionment structure.

It is possible for a rework order to settle to a manufacturing order that is linked to a collective order that does not use automatic goods movements. In this case the rework order first settles to the original manufacturing order. Then the original manufacturing order – as long as it is not the leading order – settles to its higher-level manufacturing order.

To reduce the runtime of the actual cost distribution process, you can execute the Preliminary Settlement for Co-Products, Rework function with parallel processing.

• If you perform the Preliminary Settlement for Co-Products, Rework function outside the Schedule Manager, enter a server group for background processing.

• If you perform the Preliminary Settlement for Co-Products, Rework function using the Schedule Manager, set the Parallel processing indicator in the selection screen of the program when you create the job variant. An entry field then appears in which you enter the server group.

You can view and edit the objects with errors that were processed with the individual functions. You use the multilevel worklist for this purpose. The multilevel worklist enables you to edit the faulty objects of an individual processing step (that is, a single function) or of an entire processing step sequence.

A prerequisite for the multilevel worklist is that you are using the Schedule Manager in conjunction with a flow definition.
