Prerequisites

Note

Using the environment parameter BOMBOS_WL_DIALOG you can choose whether:

Procedure

  1. In the Product Safety menu, choose Data transfer ® Bill of material ® Worklist.

The Display Worklist screen appears.

The following key sequence is displayed for the bill of material: material number - plant - usage - alternative.

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to switch to editing mode.

Assigning a Missing Specification-Material Assignment

  1. Select the specification for which the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text icon is displayed.
  2. The system displays the Specification data group box with the Specification field.

  3. Use the input help to select the specification to which the BOM material is to be assigned.
  4. Choose Confirm to transfer the specification to the worklist.

Note

If you do not assign a specification, the SAP System creates a specification during generation.

Resetting an Error Entry

  1. Select the BOM for which the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text icon is displayed.
  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  1. If the error is displayed because the material is assigned to a number of specifications, you can:

Generating the Composition

  1. Select the BOMs for which the composition is to be generated.
  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Log to display the log.

When you exit the worklist, you must save if you want the changes to be transferred.

Result

The composition is generated if the BOM items

The specification key is displayed in the worklist as a branch with all its components and the calculated proportions. The specification is assigned the identifier NUM BOM (material number, plant, usage, alternative).
