Use
In standard structures you can predefine material assignments by assigning material components to the activities of a standard network.
When you create a network by using a standard network as a template, the system automatically copies the material assignments.
If you use a standard network as a template for a new standard network, the system also automatically copies the material assignments, except those assigned via a
standard BOM.Prerequisites
In contrast to operative networks, you can assign material components to a standard network, if they belong to a BOM.
If a BOM does not already exist, you must create a normal BOM or a so-called standard BOM first. Both standard and normal BOMs are always defined for a plant; if you want to assign materials from different plants, you need a BOM for each plant.
A standard BOM does not have a "header material"; it is an aid that is just used for assigning material to one standard network.
