EH&S-QM Interface 

Purpose

The specification database in Product Safety allows you to manage in the SAP System all types of data on specifications, such as physical-chemical properties, toxicological data, and compositions.

Specifications can also be components of a product. In the SAP System products are stored as materials. So if materials whose specifications are assigned in the specification database are to be inspected in Quality Management, the inspection plans must also contain the relevant specification data.

Using the EH&S-QM interface, you can create inspection plans from the data that already exists in the specification database, thus avoiding the need for redundant data maintenance. This process also guarantees that the specification data in all inspection plans is consistent.

You create the inspection plans in Product Safety and you can then call them in the Quality Management application component and adapt them to your requirements.
