Use

You can call up the material where-used list in the structural display for technical objects as well as in the order processing. This where-used list shows you the materials for the technical object, which are most frequently withdrawn from stock.

Prerequisites

In Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service you have defined the parameter Number of Orders for Material Where-Used List under Define Selection Process, Structural Display and BOMs.

Features

General

The system always executes the where-used list exactly for one selected piece of equipment or a functional location.

The results list is sorted by the withdrawal- or procurement date. It displays the materials of the last orders, whereby you have previously defined the number of orders in Customizing. The list only contains condensed data, that is, it only shows, for example, the minimum or maximum amount withdrawn for a material.

Peculiarities in Order Processing

If you execute the where-used list in the order processing, the system always executes the where-used list for the technical object from the order header. If two technical objects are assigned to the order, the system always uses the piece of equipment as a basis.

In the results list you can select a material and copy it into the order. The system then copies the minimum withdrawal quantity as default when it returns to the order. You can use the Business Add-In (BADI) IHSA_LIST_EDITING to change the attributes of the copied material.
