If you do not use any predefined terms of payment when posting a document, the system defaults the document date as the baseline date.

In the example below, the terms of payment are to determine the baseline date only. All further specifications are to be entered manually during document entry. To do this, you define a payment term that contains an entry for the baseline date only.
