Use

You can define all frequently used terms of payment as a terms of payment key in the system.

This key can then be used to :

Terms of payment keys consist of four digits and are freely definable. You use this key to access your terms of payment definitions.

You can define the following for terms of payment:

You use date limits to define terms of payment that are date-specific. For more information, see Date-Specific Terms of Payment.

You specify rules for the terms of payment defined. The system then uses these rules to calculate the baseline date. The system displays this date in the field Baseline date in the document. For more information, see Baseline Date for Payment.

Cash discount periods are generally specified in days, such as "3% cash discount for payment within 10 days". However, you can also determine date-dependent cash discount periods, such as "3% cash discount until the 25th of month". For more information, see Cash Discount Percentage Rates and Cash Discount Periods.

If you want to block line items from payment when you post a document, you can define this for your terms of payment. You can also define a payment method. For more information, see Payment Block.

You use this for document entry.

You set this indicator if the document item you enter should be divided into several partial amounts with various due dates. For more information, see Installment Payments.
