Extractors and Business Transaction Events (BTEs) for Data Distribution

Scope of Functions

The following functions are now available for working with non-SAP systems (working with ALE):

1. Extractors for the initial download

2. Business Transaction Events (BTE) for comparing master data and movement data when using distributed data

These new functions affect the:

• Customer hierarchy

• Customer-material info record

• CAS sales activities

• Sales documents (apart from scheduling agreements)

Extractors

The extractors were created as BAPIs with the following methods:

There are two function modules for the initial download of sales documents (apart from scheduling agreements):

• ORDER_SELECT_NEXT_ID

• SD_SALES_DOCUMENT_PREFETCH
  

Business Transaction Events (BTE)

The following events were created for using Business Transaction Events (BTEs):

00504001: Customer-material info was created

00504002: Customer-material info was changed

00504003: Customer-material info was deleted

00504004: Customer hierarchy was created

00504005: Customer hierarchy was changed

00504005: Customer hierarchy was deleted

00505001: Business partner sales activity was created

00505002: Business partner sales activity was changed

00505003: Business partner sales activity was deleted

00501014: Sales order was created, changed, deleted

Every time an object is created, changed or deleted, when it is posted, the relevant event is triggered.

You can register function modules and assign them to a certain event in Customizing under Sales and Distribution -> System modifications -> Use business transaction events. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) documentation for this activity.
