Define Search Helps for Cost Centers

In this IMG activity you can maintain or redefine search help for cost centers.

Notes

Search help maintenance requires technical knowledge of the ABAP Dictionary. Let system administration maintain search help for you.

Note that large numbers of search helps result to slow system performance. Check which search helps you need. Deactivate any search hel you don't require.

Search help is valid for all clients.

Requirements

Before maintaining search help, see the R/3 Library under Basis Components -> ABAP Development Workbench -> ABAP Dictionary -> Search Help for information on how search help is constructed in the R/3 System and how to create one in the ABAP Dictionary.

Standard Settings

SAP supplies the following standard search helps:

Search help ID "N" enables searching for a cost center using the cost center number.

The search helpwith the ID "S" enables searching for a cost center using the cost center name.

Activities

1. Check whether the standard search helps satisfy your requirements.

2. Supplement the existing search help objects with further search help objects or create new search helps if necessary.
