In this step, you define the SSS benefits wage types used to valuate SSS sickness and maternity absences.
Once you have defined the SSS absence types and configured their valuation in payroll, an SSS sickness or maternity absence can be booked through the Absences infotype (2001).
The corresponding SSS benefit wage type configured in this step will contain the number of absence hours. During the payroll run, the appropriate SSS benefit will be calculated based on the wage type's specification in processing class 61.
The standard system contains model SAP wage types for SSS sickness and maternity benefits. You can copy these wage types to create your own.
