This section describes how to make the settings necessary for valuating wage types:
Time wage types are wage types which are either entered by means of infotype 2010, Employee Remuneration Information or imported to Payroll when time wage types are selected.
All other wage types (e.g. those that are imported into Payroll via infotypes 0011, External Bank Transfer or 0008, Basic Pay) are irrelevant in this context as they are generally made available to Payroll after they have been completely valuated.
An employee works 10 hours overtime. These 10 hours must be valuated using an hourly rate. To do this, an hourly rate must first be created in Payroll and the hourly rate used to valuate the "overtime" wage type must be specified.
