Changes to the Interface Toolbox (PU12)

Scope of Functions

The changes are only of significance for users who already use the Toolbox.

• Interface Toolbox Interface

The initial screen has been redesigned. It is based on tabstrips, where functions with a similar subject matter are grouped together. Customizing for the Toolbox and daily work with the interface created are performed separately.

• You find the activities for Customizing the Toolbox on the "Configuration" tabstrip.

• You find the activities for the daily work on the "Export" or "Export History" tabstrips or in the Toolbox menu.

• Displaying the Export File

The new report RPCIFG08 (Displaying Export Files in the SAP Standard Layout) makes it possible for you to easily display export files, which exist in the SAP Standard File-Layout in the TemSe.

• Restriction:

Older TemSe files whose secondary information can no longer be reconstructed by the system, are displayed in the usual way using the Toolbox.

• Saving the Information Using the Export File Structure

During the export, current secondary information is written to the export file (connected to the preamble, between the new operations BSC and ESC) (Start / End of Secondary File). This even makes it possible to easily display export files whose data format is no longer current.

• Indirect Wage Type Valuation

You can valuate wage types from the Basic Pay (0008), Recurring Payments and Deductions (0014) and Additional Payments (0015) infotypes indirectly. The Toolbox does not perform factoring for the remuneration even if the data records of the Basic Pay (0008) and Recurring Payments and Deductions (0014) infotypes are only valid for a partial period.

• Importing Payroll Results

The Toolbox uses the BAPI BUS7023.InsertOutsourcer for the Business-Object ManagerExtPayroll to import payroll results to the SAP System from a third-party system. This BAPI replaces the report RPC IFI00 (Import Net Results). The report will be deleted in the next functional release.
