Customer Enhancement Changes for WBS BOMs

Scope of Functions

This information is only of relevance to you if you work with WBS BOMs and have previously used the CSWB0001 customer enhancement or modified the EXIT_SAPLCSWB_001 function module.

The CSWB0001 customer enhancement has been deleted for Release 4.6A and replaced by the PCSD0008 customer enhancement.

With this enhancement you can make changes to a bill of material according to certain rules, when you create a WBS BOM. You can

• Make changes to item data (such as, the item quantity)

• Add items

• Delete items

In earlier releases the CSWB0001 customer enhancement contained the EXIT_SAPLCSWB_001 function module in the CSWB function group. In Release 4.6A the EXIT_SAPLCSWB_001 function module has been modified and assigned to the XDSA function group. If you have made changes to the EXIT_SAPLCSWB_001 function module these will be lost, when your system is updated to Release 4.6A.

When you update to Release 4.6A or higher, carry out the following steps:

1. Save your code, before you start the update to Release 4.6A (or higher).

This step is important, as the EXIT_SAPLCSWB_001 function module will be overwritten during the update.

2. After you have imported Release 4.6A (or higher) choose Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Utilities -> Enhancements -> Project management.

The Project Management of SAP Enhancements (CMOD) screen appears.

3. Create an enhancement project.

4. Assign the PCSD0008 SAP enhancement to the enhancement project.

5. Transfer the code that you previously used in the EXIT_SAPLCSWB_001 function module, to the ZXCSAU13 include.
