In this step, you define the report-specific prefixes for protecting your batch input sessions.
This prefix is set before the actual session name and can be checked generically at a later date. This can prevent unauthorized printing.
Maintain feature BIMAP, by defining prefixes for the batch input session that is to be protected.
HR2-MUELLER will come from the session name MUELLER if a corresponding entry exists in the feature:
000010 D REPID
000020 RPITUM00 &BIMAP=HR2-,
000030 ******** &BIMAP=HR1-,
Report RPITUM00 will only suggest the prefix HR2- for session names. All other reports use the prefix HR1-.
SAP delivers the feature BIMAP with an empty
decision tree as
standard. By using transaction SU03 (Maintain austhorizations), you will find
the object class 'Batch input authorizations (technical name: S_BDC_MONI)
under the object class 'Basis - Administration'. This object allows you to
control the authorizations based on the session name in combination with an
activity. The possible activities are documented for the object.
