Special Authorizations in Personnel Administration

In this section, you will find a description of additional options that need to be set up to prevent unauthorized access to personal data.

Requirements

The relevant authorization main switch must be set so that the additional checks are also active. You can create the necessary settings using the transaction HR: Authorization main switch (OOAC).

Activities

When assigning authorizations in conjunction with these additional checks, please proceed as follows:

• define authorizations based on personnel numbers

• set up the structural authorization in the Organizational Management component (please note, with this variant, employees in the Organizational Management component are represented by object type 'P')
