Customer Enhancement for Self-Defined Fields in Asset Master Record

Scope of Functions

Using customer enhancement AIST0002, you can add your own fields to the asset master record. There are two options:

• You define your own completely new fields. In this case, you have to create new domains and data elements first.

• You use an already existing field as a reference. In this case, the system adopts the the attributes of the data element and the value tables of the existing field for the new field. You can include these customer-defined fields in Asset Accounting reporting; they are at your disposal both when you are defining sort versions and when you make dynamic selections.
