Variable Field Selection of Partner Address in Notifications and Orders

Scope of Functions

Since Release 4.5A, there has been an additional partner address for each partner function in notifications and orders.

From Release 4.6A, you can set which fields are obligatory or optional in this additional address, and which fields are hidden. For this, you can create a transaction variant, which defines the field selection, for each partner function.

Effects on Customizing

1. In the Customizing for General Settings, you define a transaction variant for the transaction, in which an additional partner address should be entered.

2. In the Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service, you assign the transaction variant to the respective partner function.
