Maintain Default Values for Semiretirement Infotype (Germany)

In the Semiretirement infotype (0521), you assign a semiretirement model and specify the semiretirement phase, in which the employee is.

The Model and Phase fields in the Semiretirement Model group are available for this purpose. You can prefill both fields using the DAT01 feature (Default Values for the Semiretirement Infotype).

Example

The legal semiretirement model GES applies for semiretired persons in personnel area 1. In contrast, the agreed semiretirement model TARIF applies for semiretired persons in personnel area 2.
All semiretired employees start semiretirement with working phase A1.

Therefore, when creating an infotype record, phase A1 should always be entered as a default value.

In this example, you maintain the DAT01 feature in such a way that the GES model, phase A1 appear as default values for employees in personnel area 1, and for employees in personnel area 2, the TARIF model and phase A1 appear as default values.

Requirements

You have already set up your semiretirement models and phases. All the fields which should be used in the decision tree (personnel area, employee group, and so on) should also be set up.

Standard Settings

The standard system contains a simple decision tree as a model.

Activities

1. Look at the structure of the DAT01 feature. The structure contains all fields (company code, personnel area, personnel subarea, and so on) that you can use for the structure of the feature.
2. Consider which default values should be returned for model and phase, based on which fields.
3. Modify the decision tree for the feature accordingly.
