Displaying the Asset in the Asset Explorer 

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

    The system displays the current value and the transactions for your fixed asset. If your asset is not displayed, enter the asset number, then choose .

  2. In the center of the screen, you can see information about the planned values, the posted values, depreciation areas, comparisons or the parameters of your fixed asset. To switch to an alternative view, choose the appropriate tab page.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, you see the transactions for your asset. For example, the goods receipt, acquisitions, and retirements. To display the FI document for a transaction, select the transaction, then choose .
  4. All of the values displayed refer to one fiscal year and to one depreciation area. To display the values of a different fiscal year, choose or enter the year directly.
  5. To display the values of a different depreciation area, in the navigation area on the left side of the screen, choose the area you would like to see.

    6. Take a closer look at the asset, especially the effects of your posting.

  6. On the left side of the screen, in the lower area, you see the related objects for the asset. Double-click on one of the objects if you would like to see more information.
  7. Choose .
