The Information System In Cost Element Accounting

Use

The information system enables faster evaluations in all applications. You can display these evaluations in different ways using different standard reports, and by defining your own reports.

When reconciliation reports are displayed that compare data from FI with CO, the FI accounts must be assigned correctly to the primary cost elements in CO by the system. Note that each primary cost element must be valid on January 1 of the corresponding fiscal year.

In the information system for Cost Element Accounting, you can display the values on the accounts in the general ledger as well as the values for the CO cost elements at the same time. This enables you to compare the figures for internal and external accounting, analyze the costs for each object class, or portray the cost flows between company codes.
