Confirming the Activities 

Usage

During the execution of the project, you record the project earned value by confirming the activities. The system uses the confirmed data to determine the actual costs and actual dates.

Prerequisites

You have opened your project in the Project Builder and expanded it completely.

Procedure

  1. In the Structure Tree, click the network header Nellos.

In the Work Area you see the detailed view of the network header.
  1. Choose in the Identification and View Selection area of the screen.

You see an overview of the activities.
  1. Select activities 0010 and 0020.
  2. Choose .

    3. The Create Network Confirmation: Actual Data screen appears for activity 0010. In the network profile, we have defined that the FinalConf. indicator should be set automatically. The system copies the work center, the activity type, and the planned data from the network activity data.

    5. You now see the confirmation data for activity 0020.

In the status line, the system displays an information message.

Result

The system uses the confirmation to determine the actual dates and the actual costs, before updating the values on the activity. The costs are totaled up within the project hierarchy. You can now evaluate the actual data in the project planning board.
