Storing the Settlement Rule 

Usage

The project is only a cost collector. The costs incurred are settled periodically to the final cost objects. In this process, you settle WBS element "System Optimization" at the end of each period 100% to cost center 4295. To do this, you must first define a settlement rule for the WBS element.

Prerequisites

You have opened your project in the Project Builder and expanded it completely.

Procedure

  1. In the Structure tree screen area, click the WBS element System Optimization (I/####-4).

    2. In the work area, the system opens the detail screen.

  2. Choose Edit ® Costs ® Settlement Rule.
  3. Choose .
  4. Enter the following data:

  5. Choose .

    6. The System automatically inserts a settlement percentage rate of 100% and the settlement type "periodic settlement".

  6. Choose until the Project Builder appears.
  7. Choose .

Result

During period-end closing, you credit the WBS element using settlement.
