To check that the number ranges have been defined correctly in all systems choose System-Wide Settings ->
Check Consistency of Application Number Ranges.
Use the Interface Adviser to connect non-SAP systems for which no standard business process is available.
The Interface Adviser helps you to design and implement permanent interfaces between R/3 components and external components.
