Securities: New Posting Log

Scope of Functions

A new posting log has been introduced in the securities area as of this release in all functions except for transaction management.

The new posting log displays the posted business transactions with the related flows and the resulting postings. The posted flows for each business transaction are sorted according to the security ID number and the securities account together with the long texts for each. The posting amounts are displayed both in the foreign currency and the local currency.

You can simulate the posting log for functions that allow you to simulate posting.

You also have the option of branching from the posting log directly to the posted FI documents.

As of this release, you no longer store the posting log as a copy in the form of a spool request. You can, however, print the posting log from the display. You can access all the posted flows data at any later date in the posting journal function.

The posting log for displaying security transaction postings is the same as the posting log in the money market, foreign exchange and derivatives Treasury application areas.
