For the INFONAVIT and Retirement fund the company is the only contributor to certain recognized institutions for these purposes. The accounting of these contributions is performed within the Social Insurance function, which is responsible for checking a series of Mexican tables together with other aspects that are generated during payroll accounting.

The INFONAVIT plans and Retirement fund plans do not contain the employee contribution nor should they have a company contribution, but the system does not allow the company contribution to be zero. Consequently it has 100% of the employee contribution assigned to it, which does not exist.

The integration of the INFONAVIT/Retirement fund into the Human Resources module is acccomplished by using the master data and more specifically by using the Savings plans infotype (0169).
