Transfer of Inspection Decision to Batch Class

Use

If standard characteristics LOBM_UDCODE and LOBM_QSCORE are contained in the batch classification for a material, the system automatically transfers the usage decision code and the quality score to the batch class when the usage decision is made for an inspection lot.

Prerequisites

The usage decision code and the quality score are only transferred to the batch class if the following conditions have been fulfilled:

The standard characteristics LOBM_UDCODE (usage decision code) and LOBM_QSCORE (quality score) have been copied from the delivery client into the current client (see Customizing for Logistics - General under Batch Management ® Batch Valuation Update ® Standard Characteristics).

Both characteristics have been assigned to a batch class and the batch class in turn has been assigned to the material.

Activities

If the above prerequisite conditions have been met, no explicit user action is necessary during inspection lot processing. The standard characteristics are automatically valuated in the background when the usage decision is recorded or changed for an inspection lot.
