Backflushing Component Scrap 
Description
You can specify a component scrap quantity for the BOM item or in the material master record. The quantity in the BOM has priority over the quantity in the material master record.
Until now, in the backflush, the system
automatically added this scrap quantity to the component quantity and reduced
the planned order by this quantity. Therefore, at each backflush, you posted
this component scrap quantity which was based on experience.
The system also added the component scrap quantity when you backflushed a
scrap quantity for an assembly.
From release 45A, the system no longer automatically posts component scrap when backflushing. However, you can instruct the system to do so for each backflush by choosing Change parameters and selecting the Post scrap indicator.
